The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at Sky View Observatory. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. The HR Coordinator will help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure associate satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. The Human Resources Coordinator should be highly organized, detail oriented and most importantly personable and approachable.
Functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of marketing the venue and managing the operation, including guest experience, event innovation, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to key stakeholders. Ensures implementation of the level of hospitality associated with Legends with the objective of exceeding guest expectations and increased profits. Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution, and guides their individual professional development. The position ensures Legends sales engines are leveraged and initiates independent and proactive sales activities, when appropriate, to generate demand. The position is actively involved in the Seattle entertainment and tourism communities and builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. Represents Legends values in all leadership actions.
The GM will oversee a senior staff of seasoned professionals across the entire operation including Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. He/she will also own the relationships with influencer relations, internal and external Communications to develop and drive impactful strategies that will grow sales and elevate Sky View Observatory.
Café Lead Cook
The Lead Cook will report to the Director of Operations, in absence the Operations Manager and will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation for the Cafe at SVO.
The Cafe Cook is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers in a variety of duties relating to a fast-casual food service experience and maintaining sanitation standards.
Café Bartender - Part Time
The Bartender is responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Group Sales Account Executive
The Group Sales Account Executive will be responsible for generating significant revenue from group sales through various outreach channels including their existing network of contacts, cold calling and incoming leads. Their primary focus will include schools, tour groups, corporations and meeting planners. Additionally, they will pro-actively assist in developing future programs that will benefit the Observatory’s long-term sales goals.
